“Baby Blue Courage” by Isla Snyder

Baby blue courage is the courage of a sunny, cloudless day
It’s the courage of trying, not succeeding
Of having to try when no one else believes

It’s the courage of curiosity, too big for one’s mind
The courage of fighting against those you love
Or those you don’t

It makes a difference, baby blue courage
It cannot be used uncertainly
It’s the courage of why, when nothing makes sense

Baby blue courage is the sweetest kind of tears
Courage that tastes sweet, tastes bitter, tastes right
