Thank you to everyone who gathered at our WITS Back-to-School Luncheon in October! This event raised essential funding for SAL’s Writers in the Schools (WITS) program, which matches talented professional writers with local public schools and Seattle Children’s Hospital for year-long writing residencies. Together, you raised $122,056 to send our talented WITS Writers Back to School to inspire and engage more than 5,500 local K-12 students this year.
