Lasky will deliver a lecture on poetry written under the auspices of the newly minted Bagley Wright Lecture Series on Poetry.
The title of her talk is “On the Materiality of the Imagination.” She is the author of three full-length collections of poetry: Thunderbird (2012), Black Life (2010), and AWE (2007), all published by Wave Books, and is also the author of six chapbooks including Poetry is Not a Project (2010).
