I’m the Writers in the Schools (WITS) Program Coordinator at SAL. I can’t entirely remember the books I read as a young child, but around middle school age I had two favorite books. On the serious side was Of Mice and Men and then, on the other side, I enjoyed Water Song, a retelling of the frog prince. When I’m not at SAL, you’re likely to find me at three places: at home, at a bookstore, or at a local cafe! My favorite book right now is The Story of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang. My personal motto is: “Everything will happen as it should.”
