All month long, we’re raising $160,000 to support WITS Writers-in-Residence as they creatively engage thousands of public school students this year. On Friday, September 30, get a glimpse into the WITS experience and toast to all we’ll make possible as a community!

Know Before You Go

COVID-19

The safety of our patrons, artists, community partners, staff, and volunteers continues to be important to us. We will require attendees to provide proof of vaccination at check-in. Masking is encouraged, except when actively eating or drinking.

Transportation & Parking

The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is located within Hotel Ballard on the fifth floor. Enter through Hotel Ballard’s entrance at 5214 Ballard Ave NW, to the left of Stoneburner when facing the restaurant. The elevator is on your left when you enter the building.

Parking is available at Hotel Ballard’s on-site underground parking garage starting at $3/hour. The garage entrance is located on 20th Ave NW, between Leary Ave NW and Ballard Ave NW. Pay as you enter, park, then take the elevator to Hotel Ballard’s lobby. Once in the lobby, take the elevator directly across from you to the rooftop.

Additional parking is available a couple blocks away at the Swedish Hospital Ballard Campus Garage at 5300 Tallman Ave NW (view directions). Rates are $10 to park for 2-4 hours.

Accessibility

The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is wheelchair accessible and fully ADA compliant. Accessible restrooms are located adjacent to the elevator, and accessible parking is available in the 55-spot Hotel Ballard parking garage.
