Summer Book Bingo: Queen Anne Book Company

2024 Summer Book Bingo, our free summer reading program with The Seattle Public Library, is in fits final month! Download your card here. If you get a bingo or blackout, you can enter for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Connect with other Book Bingo readers by using the hashtag #BookBingoNW2024 on social media.

SAL is thrilled to partner with many of Seattle’s bountiful indie bookstores for our events. Read on for recommendations from one of our faves, Queen Anne Book Company!

Any bookseller or librarian will agree: the best part of the job is working with a patron to find the exact book to fit their needs. It’s gratifying for us, and it demonstrates to folks that a good bookseller will beat an AI generated list every time.

Queen Anne Book Company has been connecting readers with their perfect book each and every day for the last 30+ years in the Queen Anne neighborhood, and for the last 11 in our current location. We specialize in the newest of the new and given the size of our store, we must be very selective about what ends up on our shelves. Each summer we create a large display and participate in SAL’s Book Bingo, because it gives us the opportunity to highlight wonderful new titles or perennial favorites from our shelves that readers may have missed. The newly added Teen Book Bingo has allowed us to spotlight our expertly curated YA sections, and the ever-popular Kids Book Bingo is a longtime neighborhood favorite.

Helping folks plan and tailor their TBR for the summer is always a highlight of ours.

Here’s a few books we recommend and the booksellers that recommend them, tailored for this year’s 2024 Adult & Teen Summer Bingo!
