SAL/ON

A Blog of Seattle Arts & Lectures

Welcome to Seattle Arts & Lectures’ New Website

After years of dreaming and planning, and months of implementation, we are thrilled to welcome you to SAL’s new digital home!

The new lectures.org was made possible through a generous grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, a pool of benevolent SAL individual donors, and the Nesholm Family Foundation. A partnership with the local design practice Civilization brought everything into focus, bringing our wildest dreams to life through color, form, and a modern aesthetic.

This updated website is just one part of SAL’s Bridge-to-30 capacity-building project which also includes the co-implementation of Patron Manager, a customer relationship management and ticketing system, and the digitization of SAL’s archive. These long-awaited, critical updates to our technology infrastructure will pave the way for SAL’s continued growth, success, and outreach in the decades to come. Now SAL patrons will be able to more easily access information about our programming and events and print their tickets at home, among many other benefits.

“We are tremendously honored and humbled by the investment of the SAL community throughout this endeavor. These important capital improvements will allow us to more effectively inspire and engage tens of thousands of children and adults in our region,” said SAL Executive Director, Ruth Dickey. “We are thrilled to share the new site and what it is making possible as we celebrate our 30th anniversary this season.”
