Pay What You Can Tickets
SAL offers Pay What You Can single tickets with a $7 minimum for every event. Pay What You Can tickets are limited and help SAL create access for those in our community with the greatest economic need.

General Early Bird Pricing
In addition to Pay What You Can tickets, we offer early bird tickets for $25, providing a discounted option for general admission when purchased in advance. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, giving audiences a chance to secure seats at a reduced price.

Indigenous or Native People
SAL offers free tickets for self-identified Indigenous or Native people to attend our events.

Retirement & Community Centers
SAL also offers online streaming for retirement communities and community centers, with pricing tailored to each facility’s size and budget.

Access for Incarcerated Communities
SAL provides free streaming access to our literary programs for incarcerated people.
Advocates supporting incarcerated communities can contact the Box Office at boxoffice@lectures.org to arrange access.
Library Partnerships
SAL partners with public libraries across Washington and beyond to provide free or reduced-cost access to our literary events for library patrons. We work with each library’s budget to create a model that fits your community, making it easy to bring great authors and programs to your readers.

Community Partnerships
SAL reserves tickets to our events for nonprofit partners doing important work in the community. These organizations are invited to attend and host a table in the lobby to connect with our audiences and share their mission.

TeenTix
For teens, day-of tickets are available for free through TeenTix, along with $5 companion tickets for adults. Head to the box office the night of the event, starting at 6 p.m. Please have your TeenTix membership handy!
Educators & Student Groups
SAL provides free or reduced-cost access to our events for teachers, classrooms, and student groups.
Public school educators and K–12 students can request free streaming passes, while private schools may access reduced-cost streaming tickets.
For in-person events, WITS partner educators receive priority for free tickets, with remaining seats available to other public school educators.
