Corinne Manning is the author of the acclaimed story collection We Had No Rules (Arsenal Pulp Press 2020). Their novel, Dirty Joke, a retelling of Dante’s Inferno about Italian Americans in hell is forthcoming from Bunny Press/Fonograph Editions in February 2027. Additional fiction has been published widely and has been anthologized in Someplace Generous: An Inclusive Romance Anthology, Edited by Elaina Ellis and Amber Flame.
Their essays and criticism have appeared in venues such as Lux Magazine, The New York Times, and The Baffler. They appear in the anthology Shadow Map: An anthology of Survivors of Sexual Assault (CCM Press). They have received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony (2015, 2017), 4 Culture, Artist Trust, Jack Straw Media Gallery, The Banff Centre, Mineral School, and The Hub City Writer’s Project.
