Megan Watts
Currently, Megan works for Boeing’s corporate philanthropy team in the Northwest, managing partnerships and investments focused on access and opportunity to education and skill-building pathways.
When Megan isn’t doing SAL board things, she can be found running, biking or hiking—and exploring as many parks and libraries around South Seattle with her kids as will wear them out!
As a kid, she read all the Roald Dahl books, but particularly loved Matilda. Not only did she stand up to injustice, she kept showing up for herself. Now as an adult, Megan thinks that’s exactly how you find your own magic powers!
On her desk you’ll find coffee, her kids’ artwork, a stack of things to donate (someday) and notes. A lot of notes! Megan’s ideal Sunday includes coffee in the backyard, a long bike ride, losing a few games of Uno to her kids, whatever her husband’s making for dinner, and time with a good book.
Her personal motto: Never stop learning. And keep things in perspective. Attitude IS a choice and one that can make life a lot fuller!
