How it Works
How do I apply for complimentary tickets?
To submit a CAT application, simply fill out the required fields in the form here, and select all of the SAL events you would like to be considered for.
Approximately two weeks before each event, SAL staff will randomly draw from the pool of applicants, and the ticket recipients will be notified via email, or by text message if preferred. Ticket recipients will have 48 hours to confirm their attendance.
Tickets can either be delivered either by email or picked up at Will Call as early as 6:00pm the night of the event; if selected, our box office will reach out to coordinate details.
There is a limit of one entry per person, and each ticket recipient can enter for either one or two General-level tickets.
Who is eligible for CAT?
We operate on an honor system, so please do not apply unless you truly cannot otherwise afford our events—however, we do not require any formal proof of economic hardship to apply; we only require that applicants be 18 years or older.
What are my chances of getting a ticket?
Depending on seating capacity, we are able to offer between 6 – 12 CAT tickets per event; your probability depends on the number of applications we receive. The application selection is randomized by computer, and the order of entry has no effect on your chances of receiving tickets.
Is there a limit to the number of events I can apply to?
No; all events available for tickets through CAT are listed on the application form, and there is no limit to the number of events you can apply to. That being said, please only apply to events you know you would be available to attend.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! When you fill out the CAT application, you will have the option to select either one or two tickets if you’d like to bring a companion.
