Wood Graham

Wood is a serial entrepreneur and community volunteer. Prior to her life in Seattle, she worked as an executive producer and content director in Los Angeles and as a shelter magazine editor in New York. She is a former trustee of two Seattle independent schools and has served as an advisor to Hugo House.

A book that came to Wood at a critical time was Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés; when she was first getting away from traditional female models, it helped teach her that female power is multifaceted. If Wood was only allowed to read one book over and over, for the rest of her life, she would read Running in the Family by Michael Ondaatje, a highly personal memoir of his family in Sri Lanka. Wood’s personal motto is: “We seek the truth and shall endure the consequences.”

Wood holds a BA in English literature from St. Catherine University, Saint Paul, and certificates in publishing (Harvard), non-profit management, fundraising management, and business development (UW).
