Stesha Brandon

Stesha Brandon

Formerly of Town Hall Seattle and University Book Store, Stesha is currently the Literature & Humanities Program Manager at the Seattle Public Library, and she serves on the board at Seattle City of Literature. Her other volunteer service includes the Bumbershoot Task Force and the Washington State Book Awards jury.

When she’s not reading, Stesha keeps chickens, knits, and bakes tasty treats. As a child, her favorite two books were My Side of the Mountain and From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. If Stesha were to cast herself in a book-to-movie adaptation, she would play Lizzie Bennett in Pride and Prejudice because Lizzie’s one of the most beautifully flawed, lovable characters in literature—Stesha loves that Lizzie learns something new over the span of the book.
