Join WITS Writers-in-Residence Sierra Nelson and Ann Teplick, along with the students, staff, physicians, and family of young writers at Seattle Children’s for a community reading in celebration of National Poetry Month.
Throughout the month, all members of the Seattle Children’s community write in response to poetry prompts, creating individual and collaborative works to share their identities and experiences. Participants are invited to come together for a public reading to share this work at Seattle Children’s Ocean Cafeteria (Level 7, Ocean Zone).
This event is free and open to the public.
