Photo Gallery: Elizabeth Gilbert at Benaroya Hall

SAL couldn’t have asked for a better author to open the 2015/16 Literary Arts Series than Elizabeth Gilbert, who spoke on creativity to a sold-out crowd at Benaroya Hall on Tuesday, October 6. Musicians from The Bushwick Book Club opened the program, followed by Jaeden Caldwell, a student who participated in WITS at Cascade K-8 Community School with writer Vicky Edmonds, who read his poem, “Light.” SAL Director Ruth Dickey introduced and interviewed Gilbert that inspiring evening.
